The main product bought by Mexico from Germany in 2023 was Parts and Accessories of Motor Vehicles (US$2.53B). The main destinations of purchases made to Germany were Ciudad de México (US$5.72B), Puebla (US$2.74B), and Estado de México (US$1.82B).

In the period January to March 2024, the Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) from Germany to Mexico is US$1.74B. In the same period, the states that received the highest FDI from Germany were Puebla (US$744M), San Luis Potosí (US$361M), and Jalisco (US$146M).

Regarding remittances, in the first quarter of 2024, Mexico received US$4.52M in remittances from Germany, while Germany received US$392k in remittances from Mexico.

Finally, in terms of immigration to Mexico, 3,996 inmigrants from Germany were registered in 2020, 47.1% women and 52.9% men. The states with the highest concentration of inmigrants from Germany were Puebla (927 people), Ciudad de México (727 people), and San Luis Potosí (578 people).
