For the 2023, the functional distribution of expenditure was social development with $34.1B MX (corresponding to 64.5% of the total budget), others not classified in previous functions with $13.3B MX (corresponding to 25.2% of the total budget), government with $4.47B MX (corresponding to 8.45% of the total budget), and economic development with $962M MX (corresponding to 1.82% of the total budget).

The main expenses approved for 2023 according to the economic classification were current expenditure with $23.1B MX (corresponding to 43.6% of the total budget), pensions and retirements with $14B MX (corresponding to 26.5% of the total budget), and participations with $13.3B MX (corresponding to 25.1% of the total budget).
The administrative distribution presents the expenditure according to each one of the agencies and public entities to facilitate the management and control of resources.
The main expenditures approved for 2023 according to the administrative classification were Mexican Social Security Institute with $15.8B MX (corresponding to 29.8% of the total budget), Participations to Federal Entities and Municipalities with $13.3B MX (corresponding to 25.2% of the total budget), and Federal Contributions for States and Municipalities with $11.9B MX (corresponding to 22.5% of the total budget).

The term of complaint is used in the act by which a subject, victim or witness of a crime, reports or establishes the facts in front of the pertinent authorities, reporting an irregularity, criminal act or crime in order to be investigated.
Perception of Security in your State
In 2023, 56.2% of men over 18 years old in Aguascalientes perceived security in their state, while 44.2% of women over 18 years old shared this perception.
At the personal level, men from the upper middle socio-demographic stratum perceived greater security (59.7%), while women perceived greater security in the upper socioeconomic stratum (51.4%).
In 2023, 17.6% of the population of Aguascalientes claimed to have a lot of confidence in the state police, while a 8.18% indicated they have a lot of distrust.
Similarly, a 16.7% of the population assured that they had a lot of trust in the Public Ministry and State Prosecutors, a 20.2% in the Judges and a 36.4% in the Federal Police, while a 11.8%, a 10.7% and a 6.66% claimed to have a lot of distrust in them, respectively.

The complaints with the highest occurrence during May 2024 were Stole (904), Injury (486), and Damage to Property (449), which covered a 46.9% of total complaints for the month.
When comparing the number of complaints in May 2023 and May 2024, those with the highest growth were Other Offenses against the Family (83.3%), Equated Violation (77.8%), and Falsification (58.3%).
