The average age of Domestic Workers, Cleaners, Launderers and other Janitors was 44.3 years. The workforce was distributed in 25.8% men with an average salary of $6.46k MX and, 74.2% women with average salary of $5.48k MX.

The best average salaries received by Domestic Workers, Cleaners, Launderers and other Janitors were in Baja California Sur ($9.68k MX), Nayarit ($8k MX), and Chihuahua ($7.63k MX) while the workforce was larger in Estado de México (546k), Ciudad de México (289k), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (261k).

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2026, the main positive variations occurred in Estado de México and Puebla with an increase of 65.7k (13.7%) and 32.2k (19.1%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Jalisco and Oaxaca with a decrease of 24.6k (10.7%) and 16.5k (17%), respectively.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2026, the positive salary growth was higher in Estado de México and San Luis Potosí with an increase of $1.38k MX (29%) and $973 MX (21.5%), respectively. Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 7 to 9 years of schooling concentrating 1.52M workers of which 29.6%  corresponds to formal employment (449k) and 70.4% corresponds to informal employment (1.07M).
