The best average salaries received by Doctors, Nurses and other Health Specialists were in Baja California Sur ($23.6k MX), Nayarit ($20.7k MX), and Chihuahua ($16.5k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (60.7k), Estado de México (54.9k), and Jalisco (38.6k).

In the same period, an average salary of $9.48k MX was observed, registering an increase of 18.7%, compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 ($7.98k MX).

The states with the highest number of Doctors, Nurses and other Health Specialists during the first quarter of 2025 were Ciudad de México (60.7k), Estado de México (54.9k), and Jalisco (38.6k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the main positive variations occurred in Chiapas and Puebla with an increase of 5.24k (48%) and 5.13k (28.6%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Michoacán de Ocampo and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave with a decrease of 10.9k (55.6%) and 8.87k (46.8%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 334k workers of which 79%  corresponds to formal employment (264k) and 21% corresponds to informal employment (69.9k).
