In the first quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $266B MX, 11.1% less than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Business Support Services registered 54,425 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (10,787), Ciudad de México (4,991), and Puebla (3,987).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $46.6B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($15B MX) and Baja California ($4.1B MX).

For its part, total income reached $47.3B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($15.2B MX) and Baja California ($4.21B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Business Support Services the states with the highest affinity were Ciudad de México (0.51), Querétaro (0.5), Nuevo León (0.49), Chihuahua (0.48), and Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.48).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Business Support Services had a total of 148,617 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Iztapalapa (4.27k), Puebla (3.8k), and Ecatepec de Morelos (3.79k)

Total income eached $57.9B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Cuauhtémoc ($7.81B MX), Benito Juárez ($4.19B MX), and Tijuana ($3.6B MX).

Total expenditures were $27.2B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Benito Juárez ($2.84B MX), Cuauhtémoc ($2.46B MX), and Miguel Hidalgo ($2.02B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 426462 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Cuauhtémoc (48k), Tijuana (20.5k), and Zapopan (14.3k).

82 companies with 51 to 100 employees were registered in 2024 (8 companies less than the previous period). Likewise, 190 companies with more than 101 employees were registered (12 companies less than the previous period).
