In the fourth quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $1.45T MX, 19.6% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Fishing, Hunting and Trapping registered 8,255 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Tabasco (1,363), Oaxaca (1,019), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (945).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $22.3B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Sinaloa ($4.11B MX) and Sonora ($3.18B MX).

For its part, total income reached $23.3B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Sinaloa ($4.58B MX) and Sonora ($3.31B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Fishing, Hunting and Trapping the states with the highest affinity were Sonora (0.78), Colima (0.7), Sinaloa (0.7), Baja California Sur (0.7), and Chihuahua (0.69).

During the first quarter of 2025 in Fishing, Hunting and Trapping the workforce was 239k people, 93.3% men and 6.7% women. In addition, the average monthly salary informed was $7.8k MX.

During the same period, occupations with the highest number of workers in Fishing, Hunting and Trapping were Workers in Fisheries, Support Workers in Aquaculture and Fisheries, and Blasters and Divers in well Drilling and Construction.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  19,627 economic units were totaled in Fishing, Hunting and Trapping, highlighting Oaxaca (3,553), Tabasco (2,875), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (2,090).

Total gross production was $22.3B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Sinaloa ($4.11B MX) and Sonora ($3.18B MX).

Total income reached $23.3B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Sinaloa ($4.58B MX) and Sonora ($3.31B MX).
