In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.43T MX, 6.92% more than the previous quarter.

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Retail Trade in Self-Service Stores the states with the highest affinity were Chihuahua (0.77), Sonora (0.75), Nuevo León (0.75), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.73), and Baja California (0.71).

In the second quarter of 2024, Retail Trade recorded a gross domestic product of $3.43T MX, evidencing an increase of 6.92% compared to the previous quarter and an increase of 7.32% compared to the same period of the previous year.

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  59,620 economic units were totaled in Retail Trade in Self-Service Stores, highlighting Nuevo León (4,261), Estado de México (3,939), and Tamaulipas (3,785).

Total gross production was $451B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Estado de México ($47.9B MX) and Ciudad de México ($36.3B MX).

Total income reached $1.42T MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Estado de México ($149B MX) and Ciudad de México ($120B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Retail Trade in Self-Service Stores had a total of 100,359 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Reynosa (3.6k), Monterrey (2.69k), and Tijuana (2.48k)

Total income eached $2.16T MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Monterrey ($67.4B MX), Tijuana ($65.1B MX), and Juárez ($61.7B MX).

Total expenditures were $1.94T MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Tijuana ($59.8B MX), Monterrey ($59.4B MX), and Juárez ($56.1B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 388959 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Juárez (25.5k), Hermosillo (11.9k), and Reynosa (11.5k).
