In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $3.31T MX, 1.62% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2025, Wholesale of Perfumery, Cosmetics and Jewelery registered 1,655 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Ciudad de México (280), Jalisco (245), and Estado de México (152).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $10.5B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($6.33B MX) and Jalisco ($1.45B MX).

For its part, total income reached $30.5B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($19.3B MX) and Jalisco ($4.41B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Wholesale of Perfumery, Cosmetics and Jewelery the states with the highest affinity were Nuevo León (0.75), Querétaro (0.71), Chihuahua (0.69), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.67), and Baja California (0.64).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  2,099 economic units were totaled in Wholesale of Perfumery, Cosmetics and Jewelery, highlighting Ciudad de México (426), Jalisco (319), and Estado de México (187).

Total gross production was $10.5B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($6.33B MX) and Jalisco ($1.45B MX).

Total income reached $30.5B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($19.3B MX) and Jalisco ($4.41B MX).

According to dato from Economic Census 2014, Wholesale of Perfumery, Cosmetics and Jewelery had a total of 4,212 economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of economic units were Guadalajara (696), Cuauhtémoc (648), and Miguel Hidalgo (126)

Total income eached $79.8B MX and the municipalities with the highest income were Miguel Hidalgo ($16B MX), Benito Juárez ($11.2B MX), and Álvaro Obregón ($10.5B MX).

Total expenditures were $64B MX and the municipalities with the highest expenditures were Miguel Hidalgo ($13.8B MX), Álvaro Obregón ($9.7B MX), and Benito Juárez ($8.23B MX).

On the other hand, in 2014 there were 26745 employees dependent on economic units and the municipalities with the highest number of employees were Miguel Hidalgo (3.79k), Benito Juárez (3.04k), and Cuauhtémoc (2.85k).
