The best average salaries received by Authors, Journalists and Translators were in Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave ($15.2k MX), Campeche ($13.2k MX), and Colima ($12.8k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (20.8k), Chihuahua (2.34k), and Estado de México (2.28k).

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the main positive variations occurred in Chihuahua and Baja California with an increase of 1.04k (79.9%) and 1.01k (86.9%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Jalisco and Morelos with a decrease of 2.8k (70.7%) and 885 (61.5%), respectively.
