The average age of Psychologists was 38.2 years. The workforce was distributed in 22.9% men with an average salary of $4.12k MX and, 77.1% women with average salary of $6.32k MX.

The best average salaries received by Psychologists were in Chihuahua ($14.5k MX), Durango ($12.7k MX), and Aguascalientes ($11.2k MX) while the workforce was larger in Estado de México (25.5k), Ciudad de México (22.8k), and Jalisco (13.7k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Metallic Ore Mining ($34.4k MX), Beauty Salons and Clinics, Public Baths and Washrooms, and Shoeshine Shops ($13k MX), and Residential Care Facilities for Persons with Mental Retardation, Mental Disorder and Addictions ($12.4k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Medical Doctors Offices (171k), Higher Technical Education Schools (16.8k), and Justice Administration and Security and Public Order Preservation (5.71%).

The states with the highest number of Psychologists during the first quarter of 2024 were Estado de México (25.5k), Ciudad de México (22.8k), and Jalisco (13.7k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2024, the main positive variations occurred in Ciudad de México and Sinaloa with an increase of 3.28k (16.8%) and 2.4k (72.9%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave and Morelos with a decrease of 1.84k (46.7%) and 1.14k (32.5%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 142k workers of which 65.8%  corresponds to formal employment (93.6k) and 34.2% corresponds to informal employment (48.6k).
