The average age of Psychologists was 39.2 years. The workforce was distributed in 17.7% men with an average salary of $8.4k MX and, 82.3% women with average salary of $5.01k MX.

The best average salaries received by Psychologists were in Baja California ($21.8k MX), Nayarit ($13.3k MX), and Baja California Sur ($13.2k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (30.4k), Estado de México (17.9k), and Jalisco (14.7k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Electric Power Generation, Transmission, Distribution and Commercialization ($30k MX), Community Food, Housing and Emergency Services ($13k MX), and Dental Offices ($12k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Medical Doctors Offices (164k), Justice Administration and Security and Public Order Preservation (5.89%), and Basic, Middle and Special Needs Education Schools (13.3k).

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the main positive variations occurred in Ciudad de México and Jalisco with an increase of 11k (56.6%) and 3.05k (26.2%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Estado de México and Guanajuato with a decrease of 2.89k (13.9%) and 2.35k (23.5%), respectively.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the positive salary growth was higher in Baja California and Tlaxcala with an increase of $15.9k MX (271%) and $6.3k MX (118%), respectively. Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 137k workers of which 63.1%  corresponds to formal employment (86.7k) and 36.9% corresponds to informal employment (50.7k).
