The average age of Domestic Workers was 45.5 years. The workforce was distributed in 3.57% men with an average salary of $3.93k MX and, 96.4% women with average salary of $4.14k MX.

The best average salaries received by Domestic Workers were in Baja California Sur ($7.18k MX), Nuevo León ($6.52k MX), and Baja California ($6.16k MX) while the workforce was larger in Estado de México (290k), Ciudad de México (161k), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (131k).

96.6% of the total informal workers correspond to women with an average salary of $4.08k MX and 3.43% to men with an average salary of $3.62k MX.

At the level of states, Chiapas had the highest percentage of informal workers with 99.5% corresponding to 71.7k from 72k workers, while the state with the lowest percentage of informal workers was Baja California Sur with a 82.5% corresponding to 12.6k from 15.3k workers.

The states with the highest number of Domestic Workers during the first quarter of 2025 were Estado de México (290k), Ciudad de México (161k), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (131k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the main positive variations occurred in Jalisco and Yucatán with an increase of 6.72k (5.8%) and 4.78k (11.4%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Ciudad de México and Guerrero with a decrease of 24.3k (13.1%) and 17.1k (27.4%), respectively.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the positive salary growth was higher in Tabasco and Quintana Roo with an increase of $867 MX (28.9%) and $790 MX (15.3%), respectively. Por otro lado, las variaciones salariales negativas se acentuaron en Hidalgo and Nuevo León with a decrease of $1.09k MX (23.7%) and $683 MX (9.48%), respectively.

The workforce of Domestic Workers during the first quarter of 2025 was higher in the age group with 45 to 54 years concentrating 517k workers of which 4.52% corresponds to formal employment (23.4k) and 95.5% to informal employment (494k).

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 7 to 9 years of schooling concentrating 767k workers of which 3.44%  corresponds to formal employment (26.4k) and 96.6% corresponds to informal employment (741k).
