The best average salaries received by Domestic Workers were in Baja California Sur ($6.89k MX), Nuevo León ($6.81k MX), and Chihuahua ($6.68k MX) while the workforce was larger in Estado de México (336k), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (141k), and Ciudad de México (138k).

97.8% of the total informal workers correspond to women with an average salary of $4.89k MX and 2.19% to men with an average salary of $5.14k MX.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2026, the main positive variations occurred in Estado de México and Puebla with an increase of 36.2k (12.1%) and 13.2k (11.8%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Oaxaca and Michoacán de Ocampo with a decrease of 15.6k (28.1%) and 13.9k (16.8%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 7 to 9 years of schooling concentrating 778k workers of which 3.31%  corresponds to formal employment (25.7k) and 96.7% corresponds to informal employment (753k).
