In the second quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $2.57T MX, 6.82% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Deep Sea, Coastal, and Great Lakes Water Transportation registered 113 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Quintana Roo (21), Ciudad de México (14), and Campeche (12).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $3.79B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Tamaulipas ($3.28B MX) and Quintana Roo ($359M MX).

For its part, total income reached $3.84B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Tamaulipas ($3.31B MX) and Quintana Roo ($376M MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Deep Sea, Coastal, and Great Lakes Water Transportation the states with the highest affinity were Nuevo León (0.73), Chihuahua (0.72), Sonora (0.72), Coahuila de Zaragoza (0.68), and Baja California (0.67).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019,  39 economic units were totaled in Deep Sea, Coastal, and Great Lakes Water Transportation, highlighting Ciudad de México (10), Campeche (5), and Quintana Roo (4).

Total gross production was $3.79B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Tamaulipas ($3.28B MX) and Quintana Roo ($359M MX).
