The average age of Entry-Level Teachers was 41.4 years. The workforce was distributed in 28% men with an average salary of $8.22k MX and, 72% women with average salary of $6.72k MX.

The best average salaries received by Entry-Level Teachers were in Baja California Sur ($12.1k MX), Campeche ($12.1k MX), and Nayarit ($11.6k MX) while the workforce was larger in Estado de México (192k), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (93k), and Jalisco (86.4k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in Promoters of Performing Arts, Sports and Similar Events ($16k MX), General Public Administration ($13.7k MX), and Psychiatric and Addiction Hospitals ($12k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Higher Technical Education Schools (2.17M), Basic, Middle and Special Needs Education Schools (463k), and General Public Administration (0.25%).

In the same period, an average salary of $7.14k MX was observed, registering a drop of 2.77%, compared to the fourth quarter of 2024 ($7.34k MX).

The states with the highest number of Entry-Level Teachers during the first quarter of 2025 were Estado de México (192k), Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave (93k), and Jalisco (86.4k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the main positive variations occurred in Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave and Oaxaca with an increase of 15k (19.3%) and 12.2k (24.5%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Estado de México and Chiapas with a decrease of 31.1k (14%) and 12.1k (19.1%), respectively.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the positive salary growth was higher in Guerrero and Chihuahua with an increase of $2.98k MX (44.5%) and $1.6k MX (17.6%), respectively. Por otro lado, las variaciones salariales negativas se acentuaron en Coahuila de Zaragoza and Jalisco with a decrease of $2.17k MX (18.6%) and $2.05k MX (27.1%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 1.14M workers of which 90.8%  corresponds to formal employment (1.03M) and 9.18% corresponds to informal employment (104k).
