The best average salaries received by Translators and Interpreters were in Sonora ($25k MX), Colima ($17.6k MX), and Veracruz de Ignacio de la Llave ($16.9k MX) while the workforce was larger in Ciudad de México (2.33k), Estado de México (2.28k), and Chihuahua (1.5k).

In terms of industries, the best average salaries were in General Hospitals ($25k MX), Business Administration Services ($10.6k MX), and Legal Services ($6.6k MX), while the workforce was concentrated on Legal Services (13.2k), Regulation and Promotion of Economic Developmen (8.78%), and Regulation and Promotion of Economic Development (8.78%).

39.3% of the total informal workers correspond to women with an average salary of $3.71k MX and 60.7% to men with an average salary of $8.73k MX.

The states with the highest number of Translators and Interpreters during the first quarter of 2025 were Ciudad de México (2.33k), Estado de México (2.28k), and Chihuahua (1.5k)

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the main positive variations occurred in Estado de México and Chihuahua with an increase of 1.54k (209%) and 939 (167%), respectively. On the other hand, the negative variations were accentuated in Ciudad de México and Puebla with a decrease of 3.72k (61.5%) and 1.69k (90%), respectively.

Comparing the first quarter of 2021 and the first quarter of 2025, the positive salary growth was higher in Sonora and Puebla with an increase of $20.5k MX (450%) and $7.29k MX (109%), respectively. Por otro lado, las variaciones salariales negativas se acentuaron en Campeche and Tamaulipas with a decrease of $13k MX (44.8%) and $5.26k MX (61.9%), respectively.

Regarding the schooling years, the workforce was higher in the range with 16 to 18 years of schooling concentrating 8.17k workers of which 81.2%  corresponds to formal employment (6.63k) and 18.8% corresponds to informal employment (1.54k).
