In the first quarter of 2024 the gross domestic product was $826B MX, 4.72% more than the previous quarter.

According DENUE 2024, Health Care and Social Assistance registered 235,222 economic units. The states with the highest number of economic units were Estado de México (24,945), Ciudad de México (23,068), and Jalisco (16,154).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, total gross production was $185B MX. The states with the highest total gross production were Ciudad de México ($43.4B MX) and Jalisco ($16.6B MX).

For its part, total income reached $200B MX in 2019, being the states with the highest income Ciudad de México ($44.4B MX) and Jalisco ($19.6B MX).

Economic activities are related if they require similar knowledge or inputs. In 2014 in Health Care and Social Assistance the states with the highest affinity were Sinaloa (0.9), Baja California Sur (0.87), Chihuahua (0.87), San Luis Potosí (0.84), and Sonora (0.83).

According to data from the Economic Census 2019, the distribution of economic units according to size that had access to financing was 8.76% units with up to 10 people, 11.5% units with 11 to 50 people, 31.5% units with 51 to 250 people, and 27.5% units with 251 and more people.

According to the age of the economic units, the distribution of those that obtained financing was 13.9% of the recently created (up to 2 years) units, 9.63% of the youth (3 to 5 years) units, 8% of the adults (6 to 10 years) units, and 6.96% of the seniors (over 10 years) units.

The states with the highest percentage of economic units that received financing were Baja California Sur (13.6%), Oaxaca (12.4%), Colima (12.2%), Nayarit (11.4%), and Campeche (11%).
